It's not just about the robot, but more what the robot stands for. It stands for unity, like all the wires bridging the circuts to the FRC controler. It's about teamwork, such as the two schools of one community working together to play a game, and have fun using their knowledge and skills. It's about learning with a passion, and showing how bright you can be. The people on the team, no matter how different, all make up these pieces in our figurative robot. It lives, it functions; it grows mentally and physically. And most of all, it is a creation that is absolutely amazing to watch work and perform as our community expands.
Yes, we build robots; but it is much more than that. In just six weeks, a group of students, teachers, mentors, sponsors and pieces of our community take time out of their busy schedules to perform their passion, learning. They build, develope key mental assets, and oh yeah, make robots of course! We encourage others to learn, and we are always willing to help each other, and even other teams. Our mentors inspire us to do the best of our abilities and encourage us to learn. They help us every day through our obsticals. They are the building blocks to a better tomorrow.
To us, robotics isn't just about building robots, it's more than that, it's a time to learn new things, make new, unexpected friends, help others, build a stronger, geekier community and encouraging others to do the same.
